About this event

KALEO is bringing the Way Down We Go Tour to the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on Tuesday, March 30, 2027, with doors opening at 8:00 p.m. Amsterdam is part of the European leg of the tour, between Berlin on March 29 and Paris on April 1.

About KALEO

KALEO is a blues-rock band from Mosfellsbær, Iceland, formed in 2012. The name means 'the voice' in Hawaiian. Frontman JJ Julius Son (Jökull Júlíusson) sings and plays guitar and piano. After a self-titled debut that went gold in Iceland, the band signed with Atlantic Records in 2015 and moved to Austin, Texas. The 2016 album A/B marked their international breakthrough, featuring "All the Pretty Girls", "No Good" and especially "Way Down We Go". The latter reached number one on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart, went double platinum in the United States and was featured in shows such as Grey's Anatomy. "No Good" earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Performance in 2017. This was followed by Surface Sounds (2021) and Mixed Emotions (2025).

What to expect

The tour celebrates the tenth anniversary of A/B; an anniversary edition of the album was released in June 2026. So expect the songs that made KALEO famous worldwide, with "Way Down We Go" naturally taking center stage. Various guests have been announced for the US shows, but no support act has yet been announced for Amsterdam.
