About this event
On Friday 4 December 2026, Kensington will perform Live in the Ziggo Dome 2026 at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam; the show starts at 8:00 p.m. This was the first announced date. Later, an additional night was added on Thursday 3 December.
About Kensington
Kensington is a rock band from Utrecht, formed in 2005. The band consists of Casper Starreveld (guitar, vocals), Jan Haker (bass), Niles Vandenberg (drums) and, since January 2025, American singer Jason Dowd, who succeeded Eloi Youssef, who left the band in 2022. With him, the album First Rodeo was released in November 2025, which, like Rivals, Control and Time, debuted at number one and won an Edison Rock in 2026. Famous songs include "War", "Sorry", "Do I Ever", "Uncharted" and "Home Again". In 2018, Kensington played to 51,000 people at the Johan Cruijff ArenA, and the band has already performed as the headliner at the Ziggo Dome more than twenty times.
What to expect
One year after the comeback shows in December 2025, the band returns to Amsterdam with Jason Dowd. At that time, according to a reviewer, Kensington combined new material from First Rodeo with older hits, pyrotechnics, confetti and a road trip set design. Details about the setlist and production for this evening are not yet known, and no opening act has been announced yet.
